Looking for a good one step cleaner wax that I can use with a da or by hand. Also, lookin for a good 1,2 combination. I have been using meguiars hand polish and pinnacle souveran for a long time but I know times and products have changed. Looking for any options that make the process a little easier.

You may want to look at Klasse AIO. Really does a great job for a single step.

Malco Glaze II. Best one step cleaner wax I've ever used. Stuff is amazing.

Optimum polyseal followed by optimum is a great combo, polyseal is a great cleaner wax giving right at 3 months durability then if your looking for more durability/gloss top it with optiseal :)

:iagree: Don't know which forum member originally turned me on to this, but I've been very, very impressed. The slight abrasive really helps it correct vs. most AIOs which seem to be chemical/non abrasive.

They have a small 8 oz bottle that lets you try it on a vehicle or 2 before going big. Very helpful!

I used Poli-Seal for the first time yesterday on a dark blue Hyundai Tiburon and was quite impressed.

I use KAIO and (with KSG) has been my go to combination on silver. KSG tries very hard to make me reconsider this ;-).

Also like CG Black Light (listed as a glaze but is apparently actually an AIO - didn't know that at the time).

  • Meguiar's D151
  • Menzerna Sealing Wax APO 60
  • Werkstat Prime or Prime Strong
  • Optimum Poli-Seal
  • Klasse All-In-one

XMT360 or Optimums Poly-seal

Just got some xmt 360 on BOGO. It does smell really good, but I haven't had a chance to use it.

I've used Meguire's and Mothers over-the-counter cleaner waxes for a long time. Both smell really good and they both remove small scratches. Over several uses you will see less and less scratches if you're careful when washing. They both give a nice shine as well. Mothers has an extremely pleasant smell in my book.

I've heard for a long time (years) that D151 does a great job as well. I can't wait to try it.

Bobby usually I'm in 100% agreement with you on all your post but you really like menzerna sealing wax? On 7 different panels I tested it on none of them lasted over a month and a half durability, it did a good job cleaning, poor correction and durability suffered even topping it with other waxes without ipa'ing the surface I didn't get good durability :( is there a trick? Lol

First choice Duragloss #501 & #105, second choice Optimum Poli-Seal if you need cut and top with Optimum Car Wax or Opti-Seal. You can still use Meguiar's Cleaner wax and top it with Gold Class Carnauba+ and there's nothing wrong with that in my opinion.

You are correct.
:props:

Menzerna Sealing Wax APO 60 is a decent product but is better suited cleaning and removing minor oxidation. I wouldn't consider it a real top performer and probably should have placed it lower on the list.

Optimum Poli-Seal is another mid range performer. It as well cleans up minor oxidation and brightens the paint but lacks the durability similar to Menzerna Sealing Wax APO 60..

Sounds like you're taking care of two different vehicles, one is a daily driver the other a garage queen?

(Just a guess) :)

One thing I really like in product is easy wipe-off. Performance for the stated purpose is the highest priority, but after the product does the job I don't want the residue to be a pain to wipe off as that can lead to potentially inflicting toweling scratches back into the paint.

What are you working on?

:xyxthumbs:

I am working on dealers cars for the one step and I need something that is quick n easy but gives a good shine. The 2 step I am looking for is for retail customers cars that is easy to work with and has good durability. I have good success with the hand polish n pinnacle souveran. Just didn't know if there was a more economical 2 step with equivalent results

D151 for good correction and Poli Seal for good gloss. However, you're pretty hard-pressed for any AIO to have 'excellent' durability.
