Online scheduling??

Hey guys
I use an online booking sire called Clickbook.net. I use them on my site and my customers use it a lot. Check it out, it is free but you can pay for other extra features if you want.

Did you sell alot of gift certificates last year? I sold one lol - but then again I was brand new - how many did you dish out if you don't mind me asking? Im dreading when this guy calls me about his certificate lol!

Well, I don't know what I sold all year. But I always sell about 35-50 in december alone for the holidays. But that's mostly cause I always run a special. I probably sell a hundred or more through the year.

Gonna check both of these out right now. Clickbook.net looks to be similar to Genbook as far as price goes. To be continued....gimme 10, ha.

I'll tell ya what though...I like that clickbook actually lets me choose auto detailing as an option. That's a really good sign!

Wow - good stuff.... I've got a new goal then lol!

Yeah, check out boomtime.com. It costs $99 for a setup. They charge 5% on gift certificates sold online only. So anything you sell retail...there's no charge. Plus, if you want...you can add 5% to every gift certificate sold online so it balances out. I couldn't do that cause they call it a "tax". Being that I'm in NH...the word tax makes people pack their stuff and run, ha.

But really, you could just add 5% to the total cost of whatever the service is. They'd never know.

You can even create a page that matches your website. To see what I mean, click my website link, and you'll see on the right is the gift card link. It should open up a page that looks real similar to my site. That page is ran through boomtime.

Looks very interesting, I'll also have to investigate further.

I checked out both bookfresh, and clickbook...neither of them really fit what I'm looking for. I appreciate the info though! I'll pretty much check out anything. Right now I'm in a free month of Genbook...so if something better comes along, then so be it.

But, right now...genbook fits my needs a little better than anything else I've tried.

Bookfresh was a lot like genbook, except for some minor things that I couldn't make work. There was just something about it, I can't pin point what it is. It rubbed me the wrong way for some reason. I don't like the feel of the booking process. It's not bad though.
Thanks guys

I just use a day planner lol. I have all the customer info on my flash drive and computer. they only reason i dont use my computer for appointments is i dont wanna take it out every time i get a call i was thinking about one of those android tablet things u can get the dell streak 7 for 200 bux and it use MS Office fo it works with your computer. I don't really need anything online at the moment so i think this will work good for me

Yeah I currently use clickbook. I like it. It sends a reminder in a txt on my customers cell as a reminder too.

Yeah I tried it out. There's something about it I don't care for. It does do a lot though. Definitely could be beneficial for anybody. It just didn't suit me, and what I wanted to do. Thanks for the tip though! :xyxthumbs:

Yeah, that's pretty much what I was doing. I've been doing the online for a few days now, and I really like it. :dblthumb2:

I took a look at ClickBook, but they don't support multi-day bookings.

I'm looking for something free

I was trying to find something free too. But at the same time I wanted to be happy with it. Best I could do was Genbook.com. I'm still happy with it, and I been using it for days now. $19.95 a month is tolerable for the convenience I'll be getting.
