ONR one bucket or two

As far as the way it drops dirt to the bottom of the bucket, would you say D114 is capable of doing the same? Or does ONR have its own unique way of doing that?

Honestly never used D114 that way. I always used the GD wash method with D114 or as waterless, and it didn't seem to keep long after being used. The chemistry seems quite different.

Uber will also behave the same way, and will actually bond the dirt to the bucket better than ONR, but I still prefer ONR.

D114 and N914 are great. I do agree with what was mentioned that N914 and D114 do clean better but they do not encapsulate dirt as well as ONR in a bucket. N914 and D114 work better with a 2 bucket method if one chooses to use a wash mitt.

Also N914 and D114 will foam like crazy when using it with the BRS.

I bought a cheap airless paint sprayer and run ONR through it. Allows for pre-rinse in the garage and really nocks the loose debris off the panel so the ONR can encapsulate it.

I only received uber already pre-mixed as a waterless (I think) from another member and I was not blown away by it. So I never really bought into it. I stick with D114, N914 or ONR. On occasion I will use Ech20 as a rinseless wash on coated paint.

I use BRS with Uber and N914. Both work fine in my opinion. I do wish N914 produced less suds, I have to remember and add the product to the bucket only after adding the water or else it will produce too much foam. Uber can be added first and won’t produce suds.

Leave it in the same used solution. ONR will drop the dirt to the bottom of the bucket. You can reuse the same solution over and over until its gone or it gets really nasty (road film).
The grit guard keeps the sponge off the bottom.

I don’t reuse my ONR after a wash, as the solution is just too contaminated for my liking. I dump it and wipe out the dirt residue at the bottom of the bucket before reinserting the grit guard and mixing up a fresh 3 gallons of ONR.

My BRS then goes back in the bucket sealed with a gamma seal lid and is all ready to go for the next wash.

2 bucket. Both filled with ONR. One is the rinse bucket and the other is wash solution. One bucket is probably OK, but two is safer. Use the big red sponge for easy dirt release.
