I've been using OPC to clean the interior of my car (using OPP as my protectant) and am about to order some Opti-clean. Are there any advantages/disadvantages to using one over the other? I understand Opti-clean is supposed to leave some sort of protection, but everything I've read is a little vague on what it's protecting against (UV, abrasion, etc.).

hello, i might be wrong here, but isn't opti-clean only meant to be used on exterior surfaces only?

You can use it on the interior as well.

I've been using OPC on my interior as well, however, opti-clean looks impressive because it cleans(dries clear) AND protects. I think I'm going to try it. OPC would be better for heavy soiled interior panels, I would think.

Even though won't OC won't clean as effectively as OPC, it won't hurt for general light duty cleaning. ONR works good too.

:iagree:

OOC works really nice on any surface I can think of. It worked great on the interior with no streaking issues and a nice finish.

Corey, did OOC leave a finish on interior panels as if nothing was ever wiped on, or did it leave a matte finish?

It doesn't really add any gloss but I wouldn't call it a matte finish either. It pretty much just looks very clean and like nothing is there on the interior. It does leave something but I would say its more matte-semi-matte then glossy.

Check out the pictures in this review for an idea of how it looks. I think it's around picture 16 and beyond or something.
