Operation beater overhaul!

That trim cleaner with the brush did a great job! I may have to try that on my dads 2008 Frontier! The bumper step and plastic around the windshield wipers has turned very light despite it being a very well cared for truck. Usually I use 303 but it doesn't last long.

That Back to Black on that Xterra will probably last less time than your 303 honestly. If you want to transform black trim and have it stay a while use something like DLUX. That said based on the OP's post the owner didn't want to invest the time much less the $.

Yep, no DLUX for that baby! I did, however, use solution finish on the trim, which I have had pretty good luck with in the past. Has lasted quite some time for me previously.

Wow I didn't know black plastic could turn white!!! Great save and if you had a few more days I bet you could have really done a full number on it but for the amount of time you had, that was a turnaround worthy of quoting!

"remember when Michael Jackson pulled a Sizzle Chest and turned black again?"

Ok I tried.

I had two Xterras down here in Florida, the plastic on them sucks and it always fades really badly unless the vehicle is garage kept.

Very nice job on an absolute turd! Your Michael Jackson comment had me giggling. It didn't deserve your time, but you made it worthwhile anyway.
