As delivered from the dealership…Operation dealership hack! Brand new really cool AMG SUV came from the dealer in really rough shape. Swirls, dull hazy paint, full of holograms, some ‘hot’ spots/almost burn through, scratches and water spots.
Client asked if I could make it ‘shiny’…well let’s see!



The ‘details’:

Adam’s wheel cleaner.
Adam’s tire and rubber cleaner.
Adam’s strip wash.
Medium clay alternative mitt.
Master blaster to dry.
DeFelsko PTG.
Scangrip lighting.
Flex 3401, pixie and Rupes iBrid.

It’s insane how dealerships deliver a vehicle, even a higher end dealership will ship a car in this condition. I do work for our MB and a few other dealerships every now and then when their “detail” guy messes up.

Outstanding finished product for your customer. In reading your "details" I see the Griots FCC and PC listed. I just purchased a flex supa beast 2 weeks ago. While not a professional detailer as yourself...looking for products to use along with it. We picked up a used 2018 GLE350 2 months ago. Not happy at all with the exterior paint condition.
Will definitely consider purchasing the GG products and trying some test spots to see if I can match your results.

More of the outstanding work we've come to expect from you. The condition of that 'as delivered' paint was disgraceful.

Amazing work and it never ceases to amaze me that the dealership "detailer"/prep-person can look at the vehicle and say its ready for delivery to a customer.

With the near burn though in many places, I'm guessing the owner will have to be very careful with polishing for the rest of the vehicle's life?
 
^^^Looking thru my files/pics for paint readings in those areas. If I remember correctly, they were not horrible...so I will go out on a limb and say there was a decent amount 'left'. Will post if I locate!
