Operation Hammer Time!

Thanks for the replies everyone!!!!

davidk: I have never had that happen to me with any trim restorer. This finished out very 'dry' feeling. Not tacky at all.

Marky: Had around 24 hours into it total.

Avant: I usually coat them. And if they are fabric I will hit them with a fabric protectant.

Great job! That paint turned out great.

I tried using Adam's trim restorer before, and it left the trim with a tacky feel. All kinds of road debris stuck to it on the first drive afterwards. Have you ever had that happen with their trim restorer? Maybe I didn't let it cure long enough or something.

Hi David.

Not to Hijack Scott's thread, but with any trim restore product, you only need just enough product to coat. (Don't over-use or saturate.)

And it may help to go over the initial application with a soft cloth to buff off any excess product and/or level it out. :)

Again... As always fantastic work. Both Prince and Willy Wonka would be proud to drive that beauty!!!!

^^^LOL!!! Thanks Billy!

No worries Pauly, some good advice there!
