Opinions on using APC to clean leather??

checked out the msds. has sodium hydroxide aka lye and the active ingredient in old school saddle soap. ph of this malco item is shown as 13 which is wildly alkaline. it appears to be pretty aggressive stuff. probably works well for quick, powerful cleaning and is why it's offered to volume detailers who need to get cars in and out but i'd be concerned about what it does long term to fine leather surfaces. sort of like the worry about effects of constantly using acidic wheel cleaner, especially strong dilutions, on wheels.

not to mention breathing it in, etc...that's always something to think about.

does it get diluted??
