I just noticed my 32oz bottle says 1oz/gal, but my gallon bottle says 1/2oz/gal. Both were purchased within the last 2-3 months. Anyone know which is correct?

I spend way too much time on the forums...and I'm an Optimum fanactic.

.5 per gal is plenty on all button dirtiest cars. It is hyper concentrated. We have 1 oz per gal on the label because its the "safest" dilution for all applications.

.5 per quart is adequate and safe. More is not always better, but if you want to use 1oz per quart, it certainly won't harm anything and we won't mind you buying more product at all

It won't detract from the look at all. No Rinse and Car Wash both have a very fresh look on any finish...including Opti Coat. Just to clarify though, Car Wash needs to be rinsed.

Sweet glad I found this. Just got Optimum car was with my last order and can't wait to try it out. :dblthumb2:

Chris, I also just picked up a gallon this after going through my 32oz bottle. How many oz should I add to my foam cannon? Ive been using 2oz mixed with .5oz of ONR and filled the rest of the cannon with distilled water. Am I using too much car wash solution?

Does too much ONR remove more wax/sealant as oppose to the correct dilution?

I have recently been using 1oz of ONR to 1 gallon of water recently and I really cant substantiate this but I get a feeling that my wax is not lasting as long as it used to when I used .5oz of ONR to 1 gallon of water.

To my knowledge ONR doesnt remove any wax or sealant. You can use it at a higher ratio no problem. Only some car wash soaps you have to check.

Using 1/2 ounce per gallon is plenty. It still generates plenty of suds and cleans well plus the nice blueberry(?) scent.

What about in the foam cannon? Is 2oz overkill?

This is Optimum at 1:10 (1 part Optimum to 10 parts water) in Cam Spray foam cannon using a 1400psi/2GPM pressure washer.

The Cam Spray has around a 32 oz reservoir so just 1.5 oz Optimum. Optimum is pretty sticky compared to another soap I used.

Same here. I just ordered a gallon of this stuff. I also love the blueberry scent. :dblthumb2:

I use 2oz OCW to 30oz water in my cannon...then just adjust the dial to suit my need.
