Optimum Carpet & Fabric Cleaner & Protectant Review!

This product can for sure be used full strength without diluting. Like most of optimum's products. very safe.

For carpets like shown I too would have used full strength.
 
I just received my order last week, and I bought an 8oz bottle of OPT Carpet & Fabric cleaner, diluted the product 3:1 as instructed and wasn't all that happy with the results :/ It did a pretty darn good job for what I was cleaning (soiled & really dirty stains) but when it came to the organic stains like body sweat and all that nastiness it really was almost useless.
I will re-purchase a larger quantity and try some at the full strength to see the true effects.
Honestly I still haven't been able to find a cleaner for fabrics like CG Lightning Fast... That stuff works on ANYTHING! Even heavily diluted- I'm scared to use it full strength. I know it's probably full of harsh high octane chemicals but it's impressed me beyond all belief!
 
I use it too and full strength. To say it doesn't repell water doesn't make sense. It repells dirt. Water is dirt neutral. All I know is when I go to clean my mats, they clean up great using this product.
 
Does anyone know if this is safe to use on leather or on one of those part leather part textile type seats?

I would not use it on leather. Optimum has their own leather product.
 
Yeah but why not?

Given the fact OPT cleaners relly on polimers and not strong degreasers or other harmfull chems I was thinking it just might be safe to use on leather as well.

OPT say to use Power clean on leather to clean and Leather protectant to protect. No problems with Leather protect but Power clean is some bad ass MOFO cleaner & degreaser.

So again...Why would Carpet & Fabric Cleaner & Protectant be more aggressive than Power clean?

Just a thought...I might be wrong! Thats why Im asking!
 
I didn't say it was more aggressive. I meant that it is intended for fabric and carpet.

The only thing I can say is to contact someone directly at optimum to see if it is possible to use it on leather.

Hmm, before repurchasing a hyped new product spend your money on something tried and true. Go buy some folex, done.
