Optimum MF Correcting Pads

Chris will the new 4" bp be released before the cutting pads arrive ? I take it this will be in addition to the 3,5 and 6 already released ?

We recommend our Hyper Compound with the yellow Cutting Pad, and Hyper Polish & GPS with the white Polishing Pad. The sprays really shine with these pads and priming is a breeze. We even tweaked the formulas to make them perform better after testing them with MF. You can certainly use the pads in any combination and I intend to see what GPS and a Cutting Pad looks like real soon.

And, while we recommend the sprays, the pastes seem to do well also.

Perfect. Will these pads be offered in a kit with the sprays? And I know this is your product, but have you compared the cutting/polishing ability with that of Meg's System

Nice, hopefully these pads are DA-friendly and not exclusively for rotaries..... If i get my skills right on cutting, i might step up and use one of these pads, well if these are compatible with my GG6....

So there's a 3rd generation HP & HC available?

No, we there was only one tweak but it was while we were testing the pad...we've been testing them quite a while now.

I haven't even seen a prototype, I'm actually only assuming there will be a 4". The 4" may be aimed at the cyclo. I will find out and get back to you. Another thought is that there may be a 4" DA plate to come since the 3" DA plates seem dangerous on a PC and only really apply to the Griot's machine...any who, I will get to the bottom of it.

I'm sorry not to be able to answer your questions, but the kit will be up to AGO as they decide how to market the products. And, because I'm a manufacturer I prefer not to do comparisons to other lines...especially one that AGO offers along side our line. It's just a professional courtesy. Our polishing pads have been out for a while, though so you may find another detailer who can offer some advice.

ponzy, they certainly are! The reason I only posted rotary BP pics is because they are new.

Not a problem, I understand that and respect it. I'm still very excited for this to come out. Can't wait to pick it up since I have loved every optimum product I've used.

Hey guys, just wanted everyone to know that these guys really stand behind their product. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. they have been more than helpful and responsive. The results speak for themselves - less product, less time, better results. I might have had a problem because of my lack of understanding on how to treat the product, but regardless of my misuse, the product still did what it was supposed to.

My advice when using the product is to have more than one pad, that way when one needs to be washed, put a new pad instead and just wash them when you are done.
I wouldn't suggest using a pad washer or any type of all purpose cleaners. According to Chris, you can just throw them in the washing machine.
