Optimum Opti-Seal

If Opti-Seal is similar to Z-CS it it will be a winner. The hardest thing with ZCS is to "see" where you've applied it and go thin. I spritz a panel, then wipe/spread it, then lightly go to-fro on horizontals, up down on verticles. It is super easy to apply. Some areas may have a "rainbow"/hologram look, but in 15-30 minutes it self levels and disappears. Any spot hazing easily can be QD'd out. I've use ZCS to top XMT360, AJ, Z5/Z2, and cured carnauba. As orngez said, many manufacturers will be looking at this techinolgy, if they are not already.

I am hoping for more gloss with Opti-seal, the CS is much to sterile looking and plain. That said I found it easy to see where I went. The CS has a light hologram look until it dries, you can notice it much easier when looking off center.

Your UPP may move backwards on the shelf but PS will probably still in view?:D

I would like to see it over PS, that would make my mind up on getting it or not.

This was my plan of attack this morning ... between water restrictions and now a rain storm I am stuck. If wife heads to bathroom, I will likely start on the fridge !! :p

Scott, I am glad to see you trying it since we have the same car/color and both use Souveran paste. This way i can see the difference, can't wait to see the pics, plus if it looks good, my car is sitting in the garage w/a fresh coat of Souveran.

I believe Anthony had mentioned that David said a carnauba layer might "migrate" into the OS and it would be better served to top the OS with carnauba. We'll be anxious to see the results of topping PS with it.

As far as being able to "see" the CS after application, in my experience it may or may not hologram, so it can be difficult to see where it was applied. Sounds like OS is much easier to "see".

is the opti-seal that slick that it spreads so thinly which is reason you dont have to use much?
