Optimum Spray Gun Review (Video)

After 5 pages i'll be the guy to say I'LL PASS ...I dont really see the point here... when did folks stop using an applicator to dress tires? When did detailers like to apply a thin coat, come back with an applicator, then come back to clean ip overspray? Seems like to much work for me.
Am I the only one on this?

Like anything else no product is for everyone. I am very pleased with my gun and here is why:

1) Greatly Reduced Product Usage (saves $$$)
2) Complete and Even Coverage (gets in to every little nook and cranny)
3) Makes dressing fender liners a breeze. (much easier than a spray bottle, especially when clearance is an issue)
4) Adjustable spray for a variety of liquids.
5) Does not clog.(No cleaning necessary)
6) Very controllable spray pattern.
7) My Tires have Never looked so good!

Like I said earlier, it probably is not for everyone and it may not be for you, but with all of the positive feedback you might just be missing out on a great tool.

Just ordered mine Friday!!! Tire dressing is a pet peeve of mine I have yet to find the "Perfect Dressing" that I am completely happy with but I thing with this combo I may be close. Thanks for the time and effort put into this review!!

The gun was something that was always overlooked, and after ordering it I wonderd why non of the members even spoke of it.... I brought it up and people weren't to hot on it so I decided to make the video. :xyxthumbs:

Thanks Express Detail,
Once you use it you'll immediately get a feel for it, and you can control the flow so you don't sling the product on the vehicle once applied. Believe it or not you'll get more sling on the vehicle with an applicator vs. Optigun.
P.S. By "sling" is when you drive the vehicle and product "sprays" along side the vehicle.

Hi David,
Thank you very much! The Wookies Fist is okay, I tend to reach for a microfiber mitt. The only draw back for me is that you have watch out for the corners of the emblem/grills, because it will catch on the fur. Other than that it's gentle on the paint and it holds a ton of soap/water.

Thanks for the video. Just seems like alot of drama/equipment to lug around to dress some tires.

Im all about having the least amount of equpment to get the job done properly. I will continue to use my Eagle One Tire Swipes or foam blocks.

Thanks Garry,
I don't know about drama, but if you're mobile and you're using an air compressor to blow out excessive water from the nucks/body seams it's the same effort/energy to apply the dressing/Optigun. If you have shop/set-up at home it's really ideal, it's more work to pull out the polisher, pads, and products to do a paint correction. :xyxthumbs:

guys its not just for tire dressing! you can use it to throw detailing spray and quick wax spray as well! it will save lots of time!
