That isn't orange peel, looks more like a moonscape! I'm guessing whoever sprayed it did textured ceilings in their last job. Shoulda stuck with it...

Generally speaking, unless your detailing degree has been awarded by one of the Mike(s), you leave the factory orange peel untouched

Nice work Dave... I have a car that needs to be cleaned out of OP. Any last conclusions as to what happened to the pads to cause marring on the finish? I use Menz. PG a lot. I get hazy results with Orange and White CCS pads, or all LC pads for that matter. What simple step forward procedure would you recommend after the sanding? Oh, and its after market paint.
