We are getting ready to place our first order. We have compiled all that we learned and all your suggestions and the order is almost ready. Unfortunately, it's already over $700! There is so much great stuff to get! Any of you forum members out there want to reminisce about your first Autogeek order? Help us feel better! This place has become like an addiction!Feed back please

You're doomed. When you're doomed, you're doomed. :D

May want to wait on placing that order for whatever they do for the Labor Day Sale. I think the new BOGO is next Friday as well, but I would definitely take advantage of the Microfiber BOGO going on now.

Don't forget to add your free sample product and request for the Autogeek banner!

The first and second orders are always the big one's. I hope that includes a DA polisher, polish, wax/sealant, pads(couple of each) and lots of microfiber. After that, your just adding things here and there. Don't forget the pad cleaner, wash mitt and QD's.

The first order is a killer, but don't be in a rush to order... cause there's always a Deal on Shipping or a Sale around the corner... plus there's the usual Codes. Why the Codes even exist is beyond me. AG needs to offer all the items at a 15% discount, everyday.

Post up your items if you like and we can all take a look at it, or you can always call in and consult with one of our techs.

Some people like to pay 10% more when they buy things. :) For the rest of us the codes exist! LOL

When I very first started looking here I thought I could spend about $200 but then the addiction hit and I spent over $350. I had to really stop myself and just get the basics of what I really needed to get started and I could wait on BOGO's and sales to get all the enhancements that I want (and there are a whole lot of those). Addiction is right I can't stop reading!

Meghan, Matt and Dwayne are great if you want to discuss your order.

You also post a list up here and the forum will be happy to add their two cents.

Congrats (????) on catching the addiction.

Hey Meghan, Matt, Dwayne and any other AG staff reading this...how about the "first time sucker" discount!!! You guys must be laughing right now knowing that you hooked another Autogeek addict!!!! Oh, gotta go now because I have to pick up some extra shifts to pay for all this stuff!!!

With the foamaster gun, you are going to only use the extreme foam, so the auto bathe may be redundant.

Not a fan of black wow, I prefer poorboys trim restorer but there are fans of black wow too.

The wool pad caught me off guard, you can do some serious correction with that and the g/g. What were your plans with that pad.

If I remember correctly my first order was about $75.00 or so in December 2009. Since then my addiction has grown to nearly $2,500.00 in 8 months! :wow: I hope it ends soon before it affects my retirement....

OH, I have another due for delivery tomorrow!!

Do we need the wool pad under the microfiber bonnets if we want to use the bonnet to do some final polishing with the Griot machine?

Keep the advice coming!!!! Thank you for your expertise and opinions! We are going to revise the wish list tonight based on some of your suggestions. It will save us a ton of money if we get the correct product the first time instead of having to go back and order something else!:urtheman:

Microfiber bonnets are not used for final polishing, they are used to remove wax via DA. However, most people(including myself) remove wax by hand using a MF towel. I would recommend the arctic white edgeless currently on BOGO for removing wax or polish.

Wool pads are mainly used on rotary buffers, they do not work well with DA's. I would definitely cancel the wool pad from your order.
