OVERATED: Which Products In Your Opinion?

don't really care for (PM if you would like to trade) Natty's Blue Paste Wax...

I had a sample of Klasse AIO that I actually threw out. I applied it with a green pad on my PC very thin and it was like concrete to remove. It was super sticky. I really had no use for an AIO, i was just playing around with it, and since it was difficult, i gave up on it. It was a sample trade so I have no idea if it was old, or since it had no instructions, i didn't apply it correctly, but it was finicky.

You're not supposed to let it dry. Maybe that was the problem. It's a wowo.

PB's bug squash, did nothing for my bugs.

Crystal Mist detail spray, no matter how little i used still streaked.

Im VERY suprised that PB bug squash was a bust for you. I even dilute it 1:2 and it still delivers every time.

what do you use instead of AIO?

Ahh, i am used to applying Souveran which you can leave on the surface and it stays more or less wet. Seems like I should have done a small section with the Klasse and then wiped and moved on. Oh well, live and learn :)

I don't use an AIO. I polish with Menzerna SIP then Nano and protect with Souveran. If the car needs a little pick me up, i use Nano on a white or black pad then rewax. Souveran seems to have some fillers so I can get away with putting on another coat of souveran instead of polishing.

Who doesn't like Natty's Blue!? I'm digging through my stuff right now, Al. I'll PM you... think I've got something you might like.

I don't care for the Natty's Red either.

I know, I speak blasphemy!

The whole Optimum line.

We will see how giddy everyone is after a good 2-4 year Opti Coat test.

Do you really think ONR is overated?

Overrated != poor product. I do agree that Optimum is pretty wildly over rated. They are good products (most of them anyway) just loved a little too rampantly.

I was thinking of trying out something like ONR!(want it for a moderately dusty car with a few mud spots)

Should I get DP rinseless wash and gloss instead? (full wash is kinda not feasible!)

IMO, they're both good products and virtually interchangeable.

Fixed it for ya! :dblthumb2:

Either one will get the job done.

now you're just trolling.

and with the recent turn of detailing forums, "Z" isn't talked too much about. That's pretty much the opposite of overrated :P

I am a pretty adaptive person so usually what might bother some might not bother me but I have to say the sprayers on these bottles could be a little more consistent as far as working all the time or not.

3 Detail Spray Bottles (36 oz )
