I know this is a very safe product, that's what I like about it, but is it strong enough to clean soiled wheels?

Very true.I think so depending on the severity of the soiling but at the price I would probably use something else on the wheels
Is TAW effective in removing wax around emblems etc...??
I'm a little weary to use OPC on paint after recently having a problem with it discoloring a door panel(interior). I know these are two completely different materials, but that thought is in the back of my mind. Why not just use Optimum Power Clean?
Hey Jim, I plan to try ARO after I use all my OPC.Mark, have you tried ARO on wheels & tires? Works great and costs less than OPC full strength. Best ever on tires IMO.
If I used OPC on clear coated wheels, is that the same as using it on clear coated paint?
Then why does Meguiars say that APC+ is safe to clean wheels, but recommends not to use it on paint?Essentially, yes. Since in both cases the cleaner is sitting on clear coat.
You read my mind, Ron. I just added these 2 products to my cart 30 minutes ago.Why not use P21S TAW for paint and P21S Wheel Cleaner for wheels?
Then why does Meguiars say that APC+ is safe to clean wheels, but recommends not to use it on paint?
Optimum Power Clean is recommended to clean wheels as well as being paint safe. Interesting, as this is and "APC" as well.APC+ isn't safe for wheels, only tires. It will probably never harm wheels, but Meguiars does not recommend it as a wheel cleaner. It is not safe for paint either.
OEM wheels are typically powder-coated which makes them much more durable than vehicle paint, but they can still become stained if an inappropriate cleaner is used or if a cleaner is used inappropriately.
