Pan the Organizer product line...let's discuss@

I saw EC's video testing Pan's Ceramic Sealant. Maybe it was me, but the review was really bad. He polished two panels and said the coating was gone. You can tell in the video that the water was still beading. He then did a sloppy job of applying Pan's Sealant and hit it with water. I just thought the test and video overall was poorly done.

These guys should also stop applying Sealants over top of coatings to demonstrate water behavior. It 100% skews the results. I've seen toppers that bead up nice on a coating but bead like crap as a standalone.

Was the video with the one with white paint? If so, I agree. The fact is if one just posts a video no one can identify the product. They all look nice! The Armour guy cleans a panel and admires how nice it works. It sure does compared to the dirty panel next it.

Even if Pan's products are good to great, after the fiasco of a launch I'll never be buying any. There are a plethora of products from brands and/or represented by people who aren't so blatantly a shill I can buy from.

If someone sent me a sample of his stuff, I would try it but not interested in purchasing anything outright

I saw one video by someone who tested 4 rinseless including Pan's. In the end, he preferred Nemesis.

Now, I see the debate on clining foam versus dripping foam and how they elaborate how each is better in safely removing dirt. Pan is a clingy type. If your current process yields safe clean results, will another product that "feels" slicker actually result in a safer wash. Are products / process already at a high level of safety that these improvement are interesting techincal points without a tangible benefits

The video brings up an interesting point. Will Pan continue to review other products in an unbiased fashion or will his channel turn into the Clean advertising channel?

He reminds me of another YouTuber in the lawn care space, The Doc. When I first got into lawn care he had basic tips for lawn enthusiasts and highlighted a myriad of useful products from multiple good brands. Then he suddenly got a deal with a particular company and “developed” his own line of overpriced products that didn’t perform any better than what you can get at a big box store. He has his following but he is now hated by most lawn care enthusiasts that have a pretty good lawn care knowledge base. It seems like Pan may go the same route.

The video was great and honest.

If I recall the art of selling is 3 steps: engage (get their attention), educate (explain in a way they can be so inclined to buy such as fear, need, etc.), sell (tell them why they need this product.

Two of the best points of the above video in my opinion is Pan is the pot calling the kettle black by saying those that didn’t approve of his antics are “trolls”. Then Pan had the expectation that he could still be considered objective about other products after launching his own which was the polar opposite of reality.
I will admit that I watched plenty of his videos and saw through his one sided views but after the way his awards thing went down and his conduct afterwards I have decided to not watch any of his videos again. Also I don’t think I would have ever bought any of his (overpriced in my opinion)products but now I definitely won’t be buying any of them or any Detail Co. products. If someone gave them to me I would use them but there are plenty of other vendors out there with more integrity.

Well said other than price, he's right there with others for the most part. Knowing his attitude and the tremendous negative comments in his now infamous and make NO MISTAKE, IMFAMOUS 2024 Best of video, he'll never admit his mistake there and will pay a dear price, guess his chemistry background will surely be put to use after YouTube and CLEAN falls to the way side because it is certainly coming

Hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing at the track & field parallel. That's exactly what he's set out to do to the other brands. The salt in the wound has to be that he's also been taking promotion money for years claiming to "promote" these brands.

He had to be doing just fine before his own line. Why mess with a dream job? The award video fallout, the quick and close ties to detail co... It's all just a bit too shady. I'm guessing a few bridges have been burned.

I believe Pan suffers from dillisions of grandeur. At least he did. Maybe this thing has brought him back down to earth. But he still has his blind sheep telling him how great he is.
Yes, I imagine he was doing quite well for a detailer.

I'm not sure he was ever a "detailer" persay, he might wanna consider it as a "Plan B" though now

Could you kindly fill me in on what happened on his now infamous video?
