First let me say that I was very happy to be given a chance to review the new Liquid Natty Blue.

On the bottle
*Use in Sun or Shade
*Easy On/Off Formula
*Long Lasting
*Non-Abrasive
*#1 Brazilian Carnauba
*Deep & Wet
*Made in the USA!!!

One of the first things I noticed while reading the directions on the bottle is that they stop at "wait until haze". As we all know it needs to be wiped off and IMO it should be included in the directions.

Test subject is a 09' Chevy Malibu, Imperial Blue Metallic

Preparation included washing with Bodywork Shampoo, Claying with Ultra Poli Clay and finishing up with Paintwork Cleansing Lotion.

The panel was just polished last week with Menzerna Polish PO85RD

Application by hand was quick, easy and hazed over fairly quickly (83° 61% humidity).

I have to say that the removal of this wax has got to be the easiest out of all the wax I have ever tried. Using the Indigo Polishing Cloth it wipes off with no effort and leaves no residue.

Weather was moving in so no sun shots, sorry. If the sun ever decides to come back out I'll update with a couple new pictures. I'm really excited to see this in the sun as this color has a ton of metal flake in it.

Conclusion
As claimed on the bottle it is a easy on/off product and gives a deep wet shine. Looks is right up there is Liquid Souveran.
Even though it is a liquid wax I do feel it is a bit on the runny side like water.
I'm not real crazy about the bubble gum smell (not a deal breaker).
Made in the USA is a big thumbs up!!!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Liquid Natty Blue to someone looking for a liquid wax.
The long lasting claim remains to be seen but I will do my best not to touch the test panel for a while.

I really want to thank both Auto Geek and Poorboy's World for the chance to use/test this great new product.

Good review.

I just received my PB LNB this afternoon and already am trying to find a car to use it on. I plan on having a review in the next week or so.
 
I got mine this evening as well.
One question, as I haven't used mine, but how was the consistence of yours? Mine is fairly runny, much thinner than NXT 2.0 and #26.

I disagree with both statements at this time. My review will be coming after round 2 with this product. :mad:
 
do you prefer the liquid or paste version ?? Do you feel that the end user should have both ??? Thanks for any insight on these products.

It really doesn't matter to me if its paste or liquid as long as the product does what is claimed. If I had to choose it would be a paste.

No real reason to have both unless you like playing with different wax.

:doh:I did...most of it, but a second time got me. Mine was a little warm when I got it from being on the UPS truck all day and was pretty watery, hence why I asked.

I didn't realize I even had the Souveran in the picture until after I posted the review. I was in a bit of a hurry trying to beat the weather and grabbed it by mistake...
 
Great review Dwayne, can't wait to see the metal flake pictures of that car.

I really like the trend of folks posting reviews up on the forum, can't wait to get home from my midwest family reunion vacation to test my bottle.

After some spot testing and process review, I believe I have found the culprit of my aggrevation.
 
Well Mr Sun decided to poke his head out today so I got a couple comparison shots just for fun. The 1st picture is Liquid Natty Blue while the 2nd is Souveran Paste.

While they both do a great job on the shine and looks of the metal flake I do feel that the reflections in the Souveran pic are much clearer and crisper (look at the trees).

Thanks for the update! Looks great!

I won't argue with you but I will say the difference in lighting and specifically the angles of the lighting can cause a huge difference as well. Not sure if that has anything to do with this case.

I took pictures from several angles and the lighting is the same for both. I did notice under the sun that the Souveran has a much deeper look to it. I guess its not fare to compare these to together though. Maybe I should strip it off and do a side by side with the Natty and Liquid Souveran for a looks test.

I noticed that the Natty panel collected quite a bit of dust over night as to where the rest of the car was dust free. It also collected a little tiny spider that seems to love it and wont go away :)
 
Nice review, thanks for doing it. Also thanks for the updated sun shots:props: paint looks great... Interesting though about the dust collection, as I find Souveran (my favorite wax for flat black) to be an extreme dust magnet...I would agree that it does offer a slightly different look than most waxes (especially on flat black) I believe it offers more of a deep, rich glow, and definitely has a darkening affect. Here are a few pictures of Souveran Paste on the left and Supernatural on the right. I couldn't believe how drastically noticeable the difference was, so much so that I started out with Souveran on the right and Super N on the left, but was so astounded by the difference, that I stripped both off and reversed the sides... The darkness followed w/ the Souveran to the left side...I appoligize for not getting the sun equally on both halves, but it just wouldn't cooperate. Sorry for the thread jack, just thought I'd share...

Ok so I just stripped it and reapplied Liquid Nattys and Liquid Souveran. Suns gone again so no pictures... They wouldn't really tell much anyway as they are both pretty equal in looks. The Souveran may be a touch darker but not much. I would have to rank Liquid Natty Blue right up there with Liquid Souveran and I think that's saying a lot for the new wax on the block.

One other thing I noticed was that the Liquid Natty wipes off much easier then the Liquid Souveran.
