I work at a Toyota dealer, home of the hybrid in my opinion, and I think hybrid cars are just damn goofy. You can hardly hear them running, lol. People claim to get 50 mpg in their Prius, but I was just fine getting 30 mpg in Mazda3 and my Scion tC will soon do the same... or should.
I've been in a Prius once and that was to move it a few feet. I had to sit in it for a few minutes in order to figure out how the hell to get it going, lol. I'm almost 26, had to take time to figure it out, yet there are tons of old people who drive these cars and look at you funny when you hand them a standard key to a loaner car. "What's this key for??"
My input may be random here, maybe not even make any sense, but I'm just a regular ol' gas lovin' car guy. I want decent mileage, but I want some sort of power. I'm satisfied with the power my tC has, all 180 horses, and that thing moves pretty swiftly without any sort of effort.
