Picked up a Rupes LHR15

Found one for sale that had never been used. Got a hell of a deal! I now have the LHR21, LHR15, Duetto and 75E. The LHR15 is my favorite. While the LHR21 has a bit more cutting power, when used with a 5" backing plate, it really throws off the balance. With the LHR15, I use Rupes 6"(face) pads and B&S 5.5"(face) MF pads and it's as smooth as butter. I think I can tackle most anything with the LHR15. I have the LHR21 when needed. The Kevin Brown washer mod is a MUST with the 21, 15 and Duetto!

That is all I have at this point and I love it. I want to get some of the smaller ones and maybe the 21 as time allows.

Instead of me trying to explain (and only adding confusion). I've ask my commandant Kevin Brown to explain. As soon as I get a response I will reply back
 
Congrats! I've only ever used the 15 but have never felt it was lacking after doing the washer mod. I'd like to eventually get the mini but it really isn't a need.

I like my 15, but I love my mini even more (other than the speed dial location).

Fivepoint0, congrats on your purchase. I recently got a 21 and you were nice enough to send me a washer. Thanks again dude. Now that the season is changing I can't wait to let you know how it works for me. Do you think I should buy a 15 also?

Noooo problem. The washer makes a big difference. :dblthumb2:

Honestly, since you already have a 21(king), I'd be torn to tell you to pick up a Duetto or 15.
 
No more use for the flex? :)
I just recently bought the Rupes21 and am thoroughly disappointed. I want another 3401 instead

I have two 3401's, but definitely reach for all my Rupes polishers first. :)

Hey Mark,

Would you choose the 15 over the 12 at this point? I am torn, but really like the idea of the 15 being longer so roofs and hoods would be much easier.

I actually just sold my LHR15. I now have the LHR21, Duetto and 75E.

I like the Duetto over the LHR15 because it's correction power is almost the same and it contours better on curves. Roofs and hoods would be easier with the longer chassis of the LHR15. However, overall "steering", as The Critic said, is easier with the Duetto. Use the washer mod with either of these!!!
