Hello guys! My first time here after I've been told to try to ask the experts here with regards to my problem. I had to remove the pin stripes from an '88 car fender. I tried using an Astro Smart Eraser pad using a Skill rechargeable drill but it would not remove the pin stripes.
So is the pin stripe just too old to remove or is the drill not powerful enough b/c it seem to not have enough torque in it even though I fully charge the battery pack before using it.
Do I need to use an electric drill with it?
Just to let you guys know that this is all new to me and I was skeptical at first to try it and got scared when I thought that the paint had come off when I tried the eraser on it but just applied a Maguire rubbing compound and it came right off.
Any ideas guys?
Thanks for your time.
