I'm guessing most of you don't buy a lot of Polish Angel products? They have a soap that's 30 dollars for 1 wash. Their stuff is great though there's no denying it.
I’m not sure this matches the thinking of the audience who wants the premium/best products regardless of cost. It may cost 30-50% and only perform 5-10% better, but for those that want the cut above and have dough, it’s worth it. This is no different than the clothing industry, car industry, etc. When a product cost is 30-50% more than leading competitors, it better offer a significant boost in performance as well to justify that drastic difference. I’d love to see reviews come out on these products where people can’t believe what they’re seeing. But I really just expect to see what I see everywhere else: “yep, it works!”
I’ll have a review up for everyone soon...

This pretty much sums up my opinion perfectly. Well said!I see it like food some will pay $100 for 28 day dry aged USDA PRIME Ribeye from a upscale steak house, I would. Is their a “big” difference than buying a USDA CHOICE from the store, wet aging it and tossing it on the grill. To me, yes although not night and day. I’m a live to eat guy. A eat to live guy would think I’m stupid as he would never spend that on a steak.
Thing is it makes a difference to ME. Let the cheapskates buy their Beadmaker and the money burners buy their cosmic spritz. Just don’t judge the other guy for doing what he wants.
You’ll never TELL me beadmaker comes anywhere near cosmic.... and I’ll never TELL a Beadmaker guy wou should buy 16oz of Cosmic over 5 gallons of Beadmaker.
We should all be happy we can argue over silly things like car polish.
For the record though.... $32 for 8oz of polish?
BWAHAAHAAA!?

If you can explain to me, completely objectively, what makes those products mentioned better than other options at a different price point, I’d love to hear it.
Did you buy these or were they given to you for review?
For the record though.... $32 for 8oz of polish?

There are always a customer for everything. Eld for a Griot's guy. You are alright with me lol.I’ll have the answer later today, once I put together my initial review... It’s funny you mentioned this because the same thing crossed my mind. I even went ahead and matched them up head to head and without spoiling I can clearly say without a doubt there is a difference between these 2 polishes.

The Pinnacle Black is like dressing up for prom and riding in a limo. The other is like a married couple staying in watching Netflix and eating Burger King.lol.
Maybe that’s extreme, but you’ll see what I mean and why it’s not far off...
Yes.
Aye like you said, we all have our things... At the same time I don’t care if you’re loaded or not, we all love a bargain when it comes to certain things right? Nothing more satisfying than our inner cheapo scoring a deal... Meanwhile on the other hand we’re probably all guilty of treating ourselves or our loved ones to only the best.
You’re willing to spend top dollar for certified prime beef at a streak house and so am I.. I can also think of a bunch of things I’m cheap at, for example buying toothpaste. I’m strictly Aqua Fresh and part of the reason is because I buy that at the 99 cent store.lol.
But then I go buy 2 freaking emblems for $100 dollars.

$35 bucks on 16oz. of Pinnacle Leather Conditioner. And IMO its the best leather conditioner I’ve ever used. To me it’s worth it.

I’ve got alot of detailing products that are pretty expensive on my shelf and all but 2 have been well worth the price.
Also keep in mind that things usually last a pretty long time... I’ve been working on these same 16oz. bottles of Griots for 3 years! [the Fast Correcting Cream is running low]

Sorry for the long post but even this sometimes cheapo guy can understand there’s a target audience with some of these products. The same way some detailers find a target customer for their $1,000+ details.
Or maybe there’s guys who enjoy treating themselves to what they like and prefer... i.e. fightnews.
Plenty of choices for everyone.![]()
Yes sometimes manufacturers use the same product and just repackage it then sale it at a higher profit margin.I am not saying they are but the PBL polish and compound look similar to the Pinnacle compound and polish. The colors are the same and their consistency looks similar from a side by side comparison.
Hmm, I’ve used the Pinnacles quite a bit. They’re very good but obviously I wouldn’t want to pay double for the same thing in another bottle.I am not saying they are but the PBL polish and compound look similar to the Pinnacle compound and polish. The colors are the same and their consistency looks similar from a side by side comparison.
Eldo, let us know when the review is posted.
