Pinnacle Foam Cannon...

The foam cannon won't eliminate a regular wash. It is in addition to a regular wash. Nothing will replace going over the vehicle with wash media of some sort (or an ONR wash).

Sounds like a great plan to me. You may even be able to charge a little more by selling the foam wash as a premium wash over a standard rinseless wash. :dblthumb2:
Hmmmm. interesting idea :dblthumb2:

Right, that's why I said I would do the ONR wipedown AFTER the foam cannon wash. I think that would be suffice for prepping.

i was really disapointed with DP in the Gilmour ... really disapointed the pics they show must be at full strength and not just a few ounces.

Same here. I have the foam cannon and tried DP car wash shampoo.. Really disapointed.

Where you disappointed with dp or the foam cannon? I just ordered one yesterday.

Dissapointed w/ the DP.. Foam Cannon works great w/ CG Citrus Clear or Gloss, Optimum Car Wash and Adam's Car Wash Shampoo

So Kristopher, did you ever get the cannon? I thought I have seen threads where you said it was worthless and you don't use it anymore. This true?

I use my foam cannon with a few different mixtures. I love it. One I use the most is for stripping old LSP. I use dawn in the cannon. Holy foam batman!!!! I will try to make a video tomorrow of it. Sick sick amounts of foam. Duragloss works pretty good for foaming a regular wash. Although you will go through soap quicker with it. I just did a wash, strip, clay, wax today. When I pulled out the cannon and used it the owners jaw hit the ground. "What is that thing?!?! I love it!" Lol.

If I did say that...it was probably about the foam GUN. I was using it for a while...but it just became an extra step to me. But since I've been using the foam cannon....I can attach it right to my pressure washer wand which really helps. Plus it puts out a much thicker, stickier foam.

I didn't buy the one from here though. Unfortunately there's one much cheaper out there. Probably half the price as what they sell here. And they're the same exact thing. But you ain't heard that from me. lol

Anybody have any experience with this thing? In my shop at the moment...we do the traditional pressure wash, soap with a brush, and spray down type of wash. Old school I guess, ha.

I'm seriously considering buying the Pinnacle Foam Cannon to just line the cars up...soap em down, and spray rinse. Planned on using the DP Extreme Foam soap stuff. Anybody have good or bad experience with this thing?

I've been using the Foam Cannon for the past year, can't see washing a vehicle any other way. You're not going to just foam your car and rinse it off and its clean, unless it was already clean. What I like about it is: It softens the dirt and grime as it flows to the ground, then the hand wash. It also looks good for the clients rather than just doing it old school. It looks more professional.

Yeah, this is old news now. I've been washing with a cannon for months, ha. Thanks though...

Didn't want to make a new thread, I have a question about foam cannon. If I use the foam cannon and reg car soap, WITHOUT OPC, will it remove LSP? Sometimes when my car is soiled a little I want to use the cannon to loosen up grime, but I'm not sure if its safe for LSP.

I'm about an hour away from auto geek!! Too bad they're closed lol- just thought I would share that haha

what i do in that situation is put in a couple oz.of soap thats not designed to strip wax[like some of cg soaps] like ocw and 8oz. of water in the cannon.

I use the foam cannon and with the DP Extreme soap it is awesome. Now, does it get the car cleaner? Probably not but it will seriously impress people that see it in action. Imagine foaming a car outside when it thaws out up there. Drive by customers might just wheel in to see what is up. Even your tools can be marketing gimmicks.

Really great point - I know others have commented on this, but I wanted to let you know I agree completely. Creating the visual impression of a professional in the psychological dynamic of consumers is actually as important as BEING a professional in your chosen craft. Presentation is paramount.

I had a question about the foam cannon however. I have absolutely no problem buying from AutoGeek (as my credit card statements for years can make painfully clear, haha!) but I have heard on other threads there might be manufacturer-specific foam cannons already available for less vastly less than AG's product available at Home Depot etc.

Do you/anyone know of or please chime in if there's something out there similar that would produce the same results for less - thanks!
