I just got my package with Liquid Souveran.

I was under the impression that my bottle should have a sticker on it stating "boosted by Polycharger".

Did I receive some old stock, or do some bottles not include this sticker.

(I could have sworn I read in another thread that the new liquid Souveran was polycharger boosted, and had a sticker on the lid to confirm).

Thx.

AG had a special Pinnacle package over the holidays where it said Liquid Souveran had Polycharger. I noticed it and asked the question in this forum because the Liquid Souveran product page does not say anything about Polycharger. An AG webmaster saw my question and quickly fixed the page for the special package.

The Liquid Souveran page does say this...

"Fortified polymers are added to enhance the brilliant shine, the protection, and the durability of Liquid Souverän."

My (wild) guess is this is Polycharger but they can't say it is for legal reason or it is a Polycharger like product. I assume it had Polycharger in it at one time because I'm thinking they copied an old description of Liquid Souveran when they created the special package. Maybe some of the guys that have been here for a while can confirm.

I have an older bottle of liquid souveran and it did have the sticker saying polycharger on it. My newer bottle does not say it.

There was a time where Polycharger was used, I believe a newer additive is now used, but sure its not old stock anyhoo.

Do NOT put it on too thick, it's a PITA to remove.

dayum.

I will take the advice for sure . thanks.

thats not such a great thing to hear.

I'll be applying it with a PC, so it should be basically impossible to put on too thick.

How long should I let it set up/haze before removing it (on average) ?

That's good you're applying it via PC.

Let it dry to a light haze and remove. :xyxthumbs:

all waxes should be applied as thin as possible, no benefit to thicker use. Just wasted product and often harder to remove. With LS specifically, its best to all it to fully dry before buffing. Apply to entire car , not panel by panel, then buff off. Outside of direct sunlight.

this stuff is the best out there for fast and good looking wax. I use it as a topper wax over sealer. kicks a-- they all ask me what did you use ? sorry cant tell you or you dont need me any more . so keep this on the down low guys

whats the benefit of applying to the whole car vs. panel by panel. I'm panel by panel waxer.
Liquid Souveram is not a wipe on, wipe off LSP like Souveran paste wax. You need to let LS dry to a haze before wiping off.

:dblthumb2: that explains alot! I'll give my LqSv another shot by letting it dry. I was guilty of WoWo.

LS needs some drying time ... if you like panel by panel like me, consider the pastes.

good info! So... is it safe to safe to say that all liquid waxes need more drying time vs their paste brand, e.g. meguairs 26 liquid vs. Meguiars 26 paste.

Nice! I took the advice given earlier and allowed the Liq Souv to dry and WOW! I'm impressed. Thanks again for the advice!
