Claybar will remove bonded contaminants from the clear coat. The paint cleanser will remove old wax, fill shallow swirls, and leave a clean slate for wax or sealant. If you haven't clayed the car in awhile, clay it again, then use the paintwork cleanser, then wax or sealant. What's the difference? Should I use both? I've used a clay bar on my Z4 before, but not the cleanser. I'm getting ready yo place a order and take advantage of the birthday discount.
Those are all great, but I'm looking for something with very light abrasives to remove marring from the 2nd polishing step(if I'm doing a 3 step). At the same time, it would be leaving a perfect finish for a wax or sealant. My three favorite paint cleaners so far:
Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer
Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion
Dodo Juice Lime Prime Lite
Use 85rd for your last step in polishing and then do a IPA wipe down before LSP.Those are all great, but I'm looking for something with very light abrasives to remove marring from the 2nd polishing step(if I'm doing a 3 step). I just added 85rd to my cart, I will be ordering shortly. Thanks for the offer, I appreciate that. :dblthumb2: :dblthumb2:If you're using a DA, PO85RD my friend! Love that stuff! Want a sample?
That's what I plan on doing, thanks. :xyxthumbs: I was just curious about dodo LP.Use 85rd for your last step in polishing and then do a IPA wipe down before LSP.
:laughing:Ok. If for some reason you decide it's not for you, please let me know and I will take it off your hands! Just like that tub of SSII...

Do you plan to machine polish the car?
Very shallow swirls I must add. I'd definitely clay it again and if you're not going to polish this time around, use the paint cleanser after claying, then your wax or sealant. :xyxthumbs:Since the car is not a DD, I haven't clayed the car yet this year. I do have a PC to do the machine polish. If the cleanser fills the shallow swirls, it'll be a bonus. Thanks.
Glazes typically have fillers. Does your test car only have Black Hoe on it, no other wax or sealant under the BH? I've never seen a glaze by itself go for 6 months. How do these differ from PB's black hole and white diamond glazes? they offer minimal cut with filling abilities and cleaning also I thought?
I know Black hole last a lot longer then I thought it ever would ( over 6 months on a test car thats an outside DD)... made a massive difference even after a one step 80% correction.

Mine smelt like fish during use...I couldn't for the life of my figure out what the smell was until I put my nose right up to the product on the paint.
