v7 is more like a medic imo, it restores your look, it doesn't really create it, I wouldn't be without v7, I use it usually at every car show and other times etcSo Blacklight is the product from the two that really makes a difference in looks?
black light is a glaze, with very minor polishing capabilities to refine your paint some if applied by machine, and stand alone cg has told me it should last as long as butter wet wax, so a month or less thanOf ALL the products out there, blacklight is the one I really don't see the hype. First I don't understand what it is/does. Second everyone is always topping with an expensive carnauba and v7. So I think the results are from those products. Just my opinion.
so its basically a tough glaze
yeah blacklight isn't just a filler like you said, by itself on a proper paint it does add some more depth etcI was a skeptic of blacklight but decided to give it a try. i used it after correcting the paint and i noticed a difference right away. It made the metal flakes in the paint pop out more and gave it a very glossy look. CG calls the product a gloss enhancer, and it does just that on a properly prepped surface.
