Ok so this is somewhat detail related. I have noticed that my TV seems to get dusty pretty often and it being the same level as my 2 year old twins it pretty much has finger prints all the time. Is there a product that will repel dust and make it easier to clean? This is a plasma if that makes a difference.

Finish Kare sells a qd (425) with anti static properties. Users have reported that is does do what it claims.

Pledge multi surface works great for me on our 72"
<--- 3 cats + 2 dogs+ 2 mechanics = we make a mess lol

LOL, QD here too. I use Quickshine on my TV and computer screens.

Review your owner's manual. It should give you the best instruction for your set.
Use only a microfiber or 100% Cotton cloth. Do not use wood-based products such as paper towels or toilet paper, they could scratch the screen.
Do not use ammonia-based cleaners such as Windex, 409 or others. They could damage the anti-reflective coating on the glass.
Try first wiping it dry with the cotton or microfiber cloth.
If the problem persists, use a damp (water only) cloth to clean it.
Some manufacturers recommend using mild soap, but do not do this unless your manufacturer recommends it.

Finish Kare #425 works wonders on our plasma screens as well as the LCD laptop/desktop screens. I've used it for years in these applications.

One of the best products for cleaning LCD screens also helps to 'fill in' minor imperfections, at least temporarily is one designed specifically for Plexiglas/polycarbonates used in motorcycle helmets, motorcycle windshields and aircraft windows... Plexus. Clean with a soft cloth or microfibre brush to remove dirt, vigorously shake the can and spray a light coating, top to bottom. Wipe with a soft, lint free cloth (a Vileda cloth is perfect) in a circular polishing motion. I have maintained an NEC screen this way for years and it looks brand new. The Plexus is designed to fill in minor imperfections and though it must be renewed periodically will clean a dirty screen and make an old screen look new.

Warnings

There are some products marketed as 'plasma TV screen cleaners' or as safe for plasma screens that are not. Just because they call it a plasma TV cleaner, don't believe everything you read.

BTW,Google is your friend ;)

I would definitely go through the manual first - there are some models of tv's where they are very specific about what kind of products can be used with their tv's.

Plexus, one of my favorite products, leave smudges on our sharp 42" LCD but works great on my nec monitor.
I have found 425 or clearkote QD the best for the TV.

Just a thought, are these QD's people are using leaving behind anything, wax, polymers etc. If so, can't see the point of that. Plasmas only require a damp MF to clean and a dry one to tidy up.

Plexus or Fast Clean and Shine from DG is what I've use, and a microfiber. But I just use Micro thats slightly damp, water works just fine.

Well so far the only thing I have used is a microfiber dampened with a little IG and that works but soon after it needs a wipe again.

FK425 and/or IG with the eurow shag towel works great!

By the way Poorboy's Spray & Wipe works as well or better than many of the others. Took me a while to figure that out.
