There is a book I would recommend called "A Cancer Battle Plan", by Ann E. Frahm, which outlines the program that she used to go from stage 4 cancer that had spread to her bone marrow and was so throughout her body that doctors just sent her home with pain medication to make herself comfortable until she died, to a complete recovery in 6 weeks.
It's a phenomenal true story with good info that worked when nothing else would. While it doesn't sound like your mom is anywhere near that, it is great info to have if you need it. I said a prayer for your Mom.
 
Prayers and positive thoughts sent. Is your Mom local to you and is her care at either USC Norris Center or City of Hope? Both excellent cancer treatment centers. Glad they caught it early, make sure her physical strength and mental outlook stays on course the docs will do the rest.

Actually, she's going to UCLA medical center. Thank you.
