PO85RD or PO106FA

po85rd is good to "jewel" the paint and has less cut the 106. 106 has more cut but finishes very nice as well. make sure you work the product in good. menzerna has a long work in time

106 is more similar to M205, as far as I'm concerned. 85rd is a great finishing polish.

so, if i apply 85rd with a 5.5 ccs grey pad, how many section pass should i do with a great finishing result?

they are the same product but 85rd has less of the abrasives in it than the 106fa

wish AG would get it in a smaller size though...

I'll check the new products page in a few weeks... haha

The words from the Menzerna rep was that 106FA just has 2x the "powder" to reduce cutting time. It just supposedly works faster but same gloss.

It needs to break down and become sort of transparent. Because of humidity it depends on how many passes.

That's what the Menzerna rep told me too last year at DF 5. I've used both and I haven't noticed any difference in finish. Those who claim to notice a difference will probably be the same people who can tell the difference between two sealants like Wolfgang and Powerlock. I am not one of those people.

good to know. I'll just stick with the 16 oz bottle of 106fa which will probably still last me a few years

:iagree: + those who says that "polish X" gives a more wet look and "polish Y" give a more glossy and reflective look.
