some menzerna sip put onto a mf towel, just rub it into the scratched under the door handle and it comes right out with no effort. you dont need a sponge or a cone or any tool. just rub that stuff in with a mf towel and you are good
With the number of pads I have, over the years a few of them have delaminated.
I just cut them up into 4s or 6s depending on the size and used them much like hand applicators.
I sacrificed a pad that I had overheated and killed the Velcro on. (things you learn)
Cut it into smaller chunks/strips and just rub the polish of choice by hand.
Mom's white Highlander looked like teams of raccoons had tried to steal it.
Came right off with M205 and not much work.
Big brownie points, not much effort.
I've cut up old used pads before and used them as tire dressing app's. I never thought until now to use them under door handles. thanks gang! I've used paint sticks and wheel woolies wrapped in MF towels for this too.
