As noted, several new paint sealants (synthetic waxes) are due to hit the market, will these change the way you will personally detail going forward ?? Will you be trying these quickly, or allowing them some time to play if just hype more than fact ???

I am not even sure the general public knows what is due to come! Except when you guys warn us you are putting out a new product. I am jazzed about the 360.

I was and still am a Carnauba Wax fan. I don't see myself changing any time soon. Don't get me wrong the new 360 sounds very good but I just like the look of a Good Carnauba Wax. I use Souveran Paste on my New Black Azera and PB's Natty's Blue on my daily driver Black Ford Ranger.

That I must agree with!
But it is good to try new things - can't you put wax over the 360?

Time will tell... I don't mind wiping off sealants. With technology these days removal of wax and sealants is a breeze. I am holding out to try the Opti-seal and that is when I'll know if the hype lives up to the facts. It's a little difficult to get the truth behind new products when not a lot of people have tried it.....

Will a no-wipe sealant change detailing? IMO no.. it just saves me 5 minutes from buffing off the product. It will make it easier, but IMO not changing the way we detail..

Will I try it? Sure.. but I don't think it's a "revolutionary" product..

IMO XMT 360 (and similar) have revoltionized detailing..slowly but surely... a nice AIO product like that will have a greater impact on detailing than a "no wipe" sealant..

Just my opinion..

Try it i will, but to manage to keep the mf away from the car after, is going to be hard...

Personaly i like to "slide" a mf over the hood after the detail to feel the slicknes...

I agree...

Z-CS is a self curing optically clear sealer and is in my opinion; one of the most innovative products and a watershed moment in automotive detailing products;

Wipe on, walk away (durability thus far 6-months) I'm going to have to find a new hobby or write more books

I'm too lazy to clean all these MF laying around the Garage. Its like someone puked yellow MF at random in the garage. No wipe sealent means more time to enjoy your detailing faster, less cleaning of MF, less yelling from girlfriend and mom to clean up after myself.

I totally agree with you Nick. AIO's are the new wave that consumers really care about, as well as detailers. I like how AG sat back and waited while Poli Seal and PwS came out and was tested. All are great products though that just make work easier for me.

Wipe on sealants may take off but it will take a lot of time. Rumor has that 6oz's on company's new sealant will cost 30+ bucks!

I hope that rumor is wrong, or produces AMAZING results. Otherwise, I just might not be buying.. :(

$30+ to save me 5 minutes? Not worth it to me, IMO. And WGDGS comes with more than 6oz, and I got it on sale for much less. This is most likely the most I'll ever spend for a sealant. It's a good product, no doubt, but I can't justisfy higher prices. I'm sure others can/will.

now remember, two of these new products are supposedly usable over a carnauba and LOCK in the look, would that make a difference ???

Now that got me to thinking bro!

But I know of one that I will not be trying. And you know which one.

If they DO lock in the look, then yes.

I'm sure one of these days someone will come up with a sealant that looks better then a nuba and does not need to be wiped off. Until that day I don't think it will change detailing much. Most detailers that do there own cars care more about looks then how long it takes to detail their car. If you don't have to wipe off a sealant it's nice but does not really change the whole detailing process that much. The good wipe off sealants like Wolfgang DGPS come off so easy there's not much time envolved taking it off. To a lot of detailers looks will always be the most important thing with ease of use being 2nd.

I have been toying with theres lately, it is very sterile looking. Especially over cars without any previous layers of sealant or wax, which is what I suspect the masses will use it as.

I have heard from several other detailers that it adds nothing to the looks of the paint. All you get is protection. What's up with that? Oh well. I guess they want you to use their 130 step plan to getting a shine before using it.

That was a joke guys. Not a bash.
