I guess the time is now to have constant green cars floating around. Came out this morning to a full layering of pollen. What do you guys do to keep the shine up just normal quick detailed or rinse first because of the ridiculous amount of pollen

California brush, and some quick detailer. I drive a 99 Civic on purpose...cause I don't wanna care about it. But, when it gets covered, I'll just pressure wash it off, ha.

When, and IF I ever get around to painting it...it will be a different story. But, for now...she's last in line for a detailing. Customers first!

This is what I did this weekend.
Fri: heavily coated. Simple rinse and driven to 7-11 to dry.
Sat: lightly coated with pollen ecrusted waterspots. Full wash & OCW/PC application. PC/MF bonnet buffing
Sunday: ONR as QD .

Always a full wash. Did you ever see a pollen spore under a microscope? Looks like a scratch maker.

pollen season gives me high blood pressure and anxiety attacks!

You're telling me. I swear I could wash my car 2-3 times a day and still lose. I've relegated myself to just washing once a week or so and using a spray wax at the same time. Will be polishing and Opti-Coating my car once all this crap is gone. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go pull my hair out.

The weather was polite enough friday to wait until I got all my stuff put away, then the wind kicked up and covered my truck.... I jumped in it a drop around the block a couple times and then parked out front which isn't much better, but it is less pollen.

I went out to ONR my car this morning and tried out my BF wet diamond and by the time I got to the other side of the car I could see a light coating of pollen, SOB!

BTW, the BFWD is simply amazing!!!
