I'm not sure it's the smartest thing for PB's to have beta testing(LNB and SYN1). You're getting opinions from a variety of people, some may not know what they're doing(no offense), inaccurate info that might not be valid, etc.....They should do their own extensive testing and come up with the end product. JMO. :xyxthumbs:

 Poorboy's IS doing their own testing. Multiple opinions can't hurt, can they? Poorboy can't replicate all kinds of conditions across the country on different types of finishes like this type of testing can.

I'm aware that PB's does their own testing, how could they not? However, I think they should *only* do the testing. I think more opinions CAN hurt as a result of inaccurate info(not from everyone), causing unnecessary change with the product, or change that's actually needed. I think this would be more crucial with a product like SYN1 compared to LNB. JMO. :xyxthumbs:

That all depends how the feedback is perceived. I wouldn't go making changes to a product just based off what someone says. It gives you something else to look for and something to keep in mind during your own testing. Just my .02.

Having a "test market" provide the company with feedback is an important part of New Product Development. We went over some of this in a few of my business classes. By getting different opinions, the company can tweak the product according to consumer expectations before releasing it for sale. Wikipedia has a pretty good article on this if you want to check it out.

EDIT: Wikipedia is messing up the link for some reason, so just do a search for New Product Development and click on the Wikipedia link.

We have done our share of testing, but getting input from our customers is how we were built. No, we don't take everything as writing in stone, nor do we expect everyone to like or dis-like a product, but we like our customers to have a voice.

very true, especially those in extreme conditions :xyxthumbs:

If we went out and just told you it was great and then it doesn't work for you then we wouldn't look too good :( ..but when we think we can please the majority we don't make too many more changes ;)

exactly Matt :)

Thanks for the explanation. :props:

I currently have Poorboy's trim restorer, poorboys wheel sealant, poorboys natty's red. Love all of them, so maybe I shouldn't question you guys. :bolt:

Hey even though Pockets is mostly here at AG it doesn't mean I don't read or he doesn't keep me informed of anything I need to know. It's easier to try and please customers than to just jamb new products out there and have them flop ;) Thanks for giving us a shot on your vehicle(s). :dblthumb2:

:iagree:

I think its a great Marketing tool, to get opinion's from a broad spectrum of detailing enthusiasts, who knows products better than an end user.

By my count 8 people still owe a review. I'm really looking forward to other peoples opinions on it.

Hopefully, people didn't take advantage of this offer and not post a review! We're all waiting! :dblthumb2:

I'm working on a show & shine type report that will include a mini review.

I am one of those 8 Dwayne. Been out of town at a family reunion for two weeks, but plan to test it out this weekend. Will post the review by Sunday.

Really looking forward to the test based on the other reviews!

Sorry. Family issues. Grandpa passed away so my mom made a trip back east to tend to that. I've taken time off from my full time job to watch my 1 year old since my mom usually does that. No time to detail right now either.

Will get to it ASAP.
