Poorboy's Microfiber Towels

you know what i love about poorboys, i place an order yesterday 11/23 and my towels show up less then 24 hours later. Just got them. A++
 
Old thread, but could someone go over the difference between the DMT and the ultra mega and mega plush towels.
 
+1 from me! Quality towels = Happy People

I've never used the PB towels but it sounds like they would be a welcome addition.
 
i agree as i need to place an order with AG soon and i was thinking of poorboy's MF towel.
 
Poorboy Steve has always had great towels, and when he sets up at car shows always has a big MF display and introduces them to a lot of people that are unfamiliar with them.

Well, that has to be a CG description--super, premium, and professional grade--all in one sentence. There's a lot of good towels out there, just keep in mind with the Poorboy's towels, Steve makes Pockets go through them all to make sure they are right.
 
You're going to the Poorboy's meet? You can wait till then and do a touchy-feely, might even get a discount.

The DMTs are definitely worth the money! Those are the best towels I've come across!

The following info provided by Chris:

The difference between the MP, DMT, and Ultra Mega is:

DMT - Great towel for your show car. Its purposes are Removal of QD, Wax, Polish, Compound your all around towel. It has a silk border that's sewn on with silk thread. It has rounded edges and each one is inspected by hand. It also is super plush with a plush side and a tight side (removing then buffing). Super safe as well.

Mega Plush - This has the same inside part of the DMT towel but it has a microfiber sewn border with square edges. Still a safe towel and is usually used on Daily Drivers.

UMT - These are double sided soft towels I found that they don't work so well with QD removal (because they aren't great at absorbing) but do work well with compound removal (but the DMT's also work well with this so I usually just suggest the DMT's so you get everything)

No tags on any of the microfiber from Poorboy's World
 
just wanted to say that i got 12 of the DMT's from Chris and they are freaking amazing! i can't wait to use them tom on the bmw i will be working on! also got a Mesh Microfiber Bug Towel so i will be reporting on that as well!

They're the best I've tried!
 
I have a few DMT's. I like them better than PakShak Ultra Plush. They seem to stay softer and more absorbent over time.

PakShak towels seem to be another favorite among this board's members, I just haven't gotten around to trying them yet because I'm so in love with the DMTs.
 
i'm def going to buy another 12 dmt's at the july 4th weekend
