2014 Porsche Turbo S, Guards Red

I had a client drop off his Turbo S for a session with Autodermatology to get it ready for a big car show next weekend. It’s our area’s best and biggest car show. The Cars on 5th show in Naples, Florida. (It’s fantastic!!)
Vehicle is in very good shape, but had your typical minor swirl marks and some hard water spots/etching.

Final result: This read beast is popping like lava out of a volcano!!

Process/tools/chemicals/etc:

Adam’s car shampoo.
MF wash mitt
Daytona speed brushes
Adam’s APC
Tuf Shine tire cleaner and brush
Master Blaster for drying
UWW for vehicle
Rupes MkII 21
Rupes iBrid
Griots 6”
Griots MF fast cutting pads
Megs waxing/finishing disc
Misc white polishing pad
Griots Fast correcting cream
Griots Perfecting cream
Wolfgang Fuzion-LSP (I haven’t used a nuba in a long time…I still love them!)
Kenotek vinyl/rubber for tire dressing
Auto Finesse glass cleaner
Vacuumed via Metro
McKee’s Fast Interior Detailer.
Misc mf towels

I think that’s everything…didn’t do too many pics or anything on this one, I had a full weekend of cars and I was beat!
Enjoy, and as always, comments are welcome!

Nice job. I say it is ready for the show. Great color.

Looks stellar Scott!! The red is popping and the car is ready for 5th ave now.
See you Saturday!

That interior.... Spotless.

Think I'll hop in and take a power nap. Tell 'em I'm in a meeting or something. Thanks.

Misc work/progress pics:

Very nice work love the floor.what did you use on the rims as far as cleaning the brake dust. Here is a little problem I'm having, working on higher cars I don't like using iron x on the rims as it turns rotors rusty and potentially discoloration of certain brake parts.I don't need a customer asking me why his rotors are rusty.it hasn't happened yet but may .what's a effective rim cleaner that won't make the rotors nasty looking.I know driving around the block cures that ,but I may get that one customer who doesn't buy that notion.I did a correction on a new maserati and a 2010 challenger this weekend and didnt dare using that on those cars.Any info besides megs 140 or ironx would be great thanks.

^^^^This vehicle has carbon ceramic brakes so I only had to use a typical wash-shampoo and they cleaned up great due to those brakes not dusting.

On others, I use Sonax, Adams, P21S (great stuff), wheel cleaners without any issues. I will say that after I rinse, I spray Hydes serum on the rotors and this prevents them from rusting. Hyde’s Serum Rust Stopper, rustopper, anti-rust solution for wheels

Hope this helps!

Thank you very helpful .I usually spray silicone on the rotors so it's not as noticible.I will buy that stuff thanks again.

I really enjoy your work. The license plate covers are genius. Nothing like killing two birds with one stone... advertisement and security.

That paint is dripping wett now, GREAT JOB!

Quite an "interesting" interior optioning on that car...

Thanks again so much everyone!

Klasse: Yes, indeed it is. A little mix of everything...wood, carbon fiber, leather, etc...

I love seeing all these Porsches that you beautify! I'm lucky enough that i work at a Porsche dealer and get to walk around them all day, but i still love seeing your posts of them all shined up the way they should look!
