I dropped the engine and transmission to replace gaskets, seals and a few other external engine related items and while they are out, I might as sell give the engine and transmission bay as well as suspension components a thorough cleaning.
Cleaning products used:
Left frame rail within the engine compartment...
Right frame rail within the engine compartment...
The 20 year old original engine sound pad that has seen better days...
Engine sound pad removed and a new one soon to be installed...
The transmission bay all cleaned up...
Aluminum suspension mounts cleaned up...
And lets go all out and refinish all metal brackets that have even the slightest bit of corrosion on them.

And when I had nothing better to do and needed a break, the wheels got a thorough cleaning, including the back sides, especially the narrow channels in the spokes as well as the hub...
Cleaning products used:
- Swish Facto AT30 Aircraft, Mass Transit and Vehicle Cleaner. (water based degreaser used on underside and wheels)
- Swish Facto AT34 Aluminum Cleaner and Brightener. (backside of wheels)
- Stoner Xenit Citrus Cleaner and Remover. (underside)
- Stoner Tarminator. (underside)
