Your experience with the Porter Cable Polisher is definitely NOT the norm, and there are limits to Porter Cable's warranty, but call our Customer Care department and ask to speak with Bobby.

Let me help out here, since you bought it in 2007 it does not fall under our 30 days no questions asked return policy. But what you can do is contact Porter Cable for repair, I see that the link has been provided in this thread. We do not repair these polishers and to be honest with you, you really don't want me trying too! ;) So go with the professionals!:bowdown:
