Whomp Whomp Whomp.

Each and every time I order Diablo wheel cleaner from CG...it ends up showing up like this.

$68.00 a gallon....id reckon about 1/4 or 1/5 is in the bottom of that bag...:props:

Well at least it's contained in the bag unlike poor Calendyr's order a few posts back that had one of his gallons all over everything in the box.

Take the gallon out and cut a corner of the bag on the bottom to squeeze out the diablo gel inside the bag. Not perfect but it should work ok

Damn thats a bloodly mess! Since its in a bag, im sure you can poor most of it back into the container.
Any chance you sent that pic to CG? Perhaps it promotes them to make sure every bottle is tight before shipping.

I see what you did there.. It does look like blood haha

I'd call CG and let them know, maybe they can help.

How do you like that particular wheel cleaner? This is a perfect example of a product category at CG that confuses me due to the number of different ones they sell. Sticky gel, diablo, etc. Since you're buying this one in such quantity, is it one of the better ones? (And I definitely noticed that in gallon size this is one of their more pricier items too).

I enjoy the diablo, but I got in at a steal when AG was running an after hours special... Think I got a gallon for $40.00!

Today is a great day!

Took advantage of Autopia's 15% off no-exclusions deal and picked up my fifth, and best, polisher - a FLEX PE14!

Small order I just received!!

Can anyone comment on how well these Brinkman lights work on seeing swirls on silver/grey paint?

I'm having a heck of a time seeing swirls or fine scratches on my Space Grey BMW while in my garage, and yet when it's out in the sun I can.

My garage is lit with T8 4100K fluorescent tube lights. (But even when I was using my halogen work lights, I still wasn't seeing much. I thought my paint finish was darn near perfect, even though deep down I know it isn't).

I've got no problem seeing defects on my wife's Altima, which is a dark blue, under the same lighting.

PS - I noticed that this particular light was rated as 3-stars on the AO store site, and the Tuff dual-lamp version is only rated 2-stars. Any particular reason why these lamps didn't receive a higher rating (I didn't see any written customer reviews, just the score)?

I have a very hard time seeing swirls with the brinkman, halogen work lights or the 4400k T8s that light up our shop, on my sisters graphite grey colored 06 Jetta. In the sun I can see them though. I think it may kust be the color.

Sweet order erichaley! Congrats on your 5th polisher!!!

What are the other 4 polishers?

I ordered a bunch more airways last week that came today. Also got a couple loose buffs and another safety flange kit since I grenaded my plastic ones. These ones are 3/16" metal plate. Very heavy but should work better.

They are:
PC 7424XP

FLEX 3401 VRG

Please let us know how you like the PE-14. You can PM me if you want. I'd love to hear what you think of it.

So why didn't you get the Rupes?

I tried it out for a few minutes, and so far I love it! I didn't get a Rupes because I already have enough different DA polishers to cover about every scenario. The PE-14 was the next logical step. Who knows, maybe a Rupes will be polisher #6... :)

The PE14 is an awesome rotary. I own a dwp849x too that I use for metal polishing. Flex is much nicer but cant handle the metal stuff.
