Ohh, got it, thanks. I am using iphone on Tapatalk, for some reason the pics opened and closed after second or so. I am little confused now. I got order few days back too, and I ordered the new Porter Cable 7424 XP dual action polisher. Also a DVD came from Mike saying dual action polisher, but looking at the box, just noticed it says random orbit polisheris that the same or there is some mistake ordering or packing?

Check the machine... the 7424 XP IS a DA.
The box says random , I might purchase the wrong one ,as I bought as kit together with choice of pads? View attachment 30929View attachment 30930

Called the customer service, they said it's the same thing dual action or random action is same, could it be right ? Also the box at the website is yellow, but I got red, just wondering if it's really the same thing , just called differently.
Thanks

The Porter Cable 7424 XP is our most popular polisher! With user-friendly features and a random orbital motion, the Porter Cable 7424 XP is the easiest way to remove swirls, polish paint, and apply wax. Because it’s a dual action buffer, it comes with all the convenience of machine polishing but none of the risks associated with rotary buffers.
Just go to the store here and look at what it says about the PC7424 xp…
The very first paragraph says…
Thank you! I just was reading the same, turns out that it's the same thing dual action and random action.

Cool, yeah are the same thing.
Easiest way to know for sure is just turn the sucker on and watch it oscillate.
