I was able to cut 3,000 grit easily I had the wool foam pad and I used 3M rubbing compound the ultra fine polish. At the body shop.

They were still stuck in there old ways using a rotary.My cousin did say it polished really nice. Especially for actual detailing and not production style detailing.

Overall this machine is great

Oh and he broke the detailing laws. You guys would be appalled lol. Even my estimator uncle was surprised when I told him how they are detailing. No further comments besides that lol

I am starting to think that with my old rotary, PC with 3" backing plate and now the Rupes I can tackle a lot. Of course it is always case by case

Yeah my PC will be for headlights or real tight to reach places.

Art, that's a nice order buddy. I used your little pads u sent me the other day and they work great for the little hard to buff areas. I have a high powered Makita that loves them pads. Thanks again and let me know how u like the RUPES. I got a Flex a while back and still want a Rupes in my arsenal. I also ordered some Menzerna products for 30% OFF.
