Me too, my current favourites are OLight and Nebo, but I also have some LED Lenser that are 10+ years old now, I remember how bright I thought they were when I got them, but they're barely adequate compared to the latest and greatest. Even my dogs wear OLight flashers when we walk at night, I get over a month between charges on them.

But you get what you pay for. I've bought cheap torches that look interesting before, but they rarely last a year.

Most online retailers have the EGO stubby nozzle in stock, I think I've seen it on Amazon too.

Amazon says out of stock and unknown if they will have them again

Amazon has knockoffs as well

Lowes is out of stock but will notify me when available

eBay has lookalikes but I don’t trust them

Yeah I’ve only seen online at weird retailers. I got mine on Amazon and tried to click on in my orders and yes out of stock.

Probably dont realize 50% of blowers the sold probably going to dry cars so didn’t make enough on initial order.

Wow! That's a first!! The OE EGO stubby is available from multiple Australian retailers, but out of stock for you guys.

I get the feeling using EGO blowers for car drying in Australia is not widespread practice.

Don't rule out the 3D printed versions though, I started with one myself. The only drawback is when its on, its ON! That wasn't a problem for me as I only bought the EGO for car drying anyway.

I know not everyone is comfortable shopping from him, but OG have the ApexAir version in stock at the moment, $65 for the nozzle, or $81 with the blower band included.

Initial versions were a sloppy, but I think they sorted that out.

TCG has it listed but they are temporarily out of stock. Could be a supply issue from EGO.

I'd prefer the OEM to my 3D printed nozzle from stubby nozzle co. I was able to get it off when I first got it. Now I really struggle.

I think that is it in a nutshell, I am just going to be patient

I dried cars in Hawaii with my full size Kobalt blower and while it certainly wasn't optimal it worked with a little bit of extra care

You’ll see a night and day difference from your Kobalt.

No blower band needed as tip is rubberized. Does look cool if that’s important.

I would wait as well, or go with the 3D printed version in the meantime.

I struggled to remove the 3D version until I watched the below video, it's all about where to press......................

That’s a great thought, quite possible, especially with it showing up at different places on the same day
