I'm not concerned with the cut. I'm more curious if you will get less marring from Menzerna power gloss because it's a diminishing abrasive vs. non diminishing?

Via DA or rotary. What's your conclusion between the 2?M105 on the right, left side uncorrected

Same type of pad was used (yellow cutting).
Power Gloss is extremely aggressive, and should have a bit more bite than 105. I find Power Gloss somewhat hard to work with because it dries out quickly and dusts like crazy.
I am curious to try the 105/205 combination myself but I can't comment on the Megs side yet.
Menzerna is the product of choice for me and my shop, if the drying out to quick is bothersome, try priming the pad with distilled water, this will allow you to have longer working time, as for dusting...it is annoying, but you need to do an IPA wipedown and then re-wash, the results are certainly well worth it !!
That second picture was after PG with a yellow pad?M105 on the right, left side uncorrected

He said the same type of pad was used, so I would assume so. Looks like they cut about the same? PG a lil better? That second picture was after PG with a yellow pad?
Iso-Propyl Alcohol I believe (dont quote me on it though)
I think he meant right and left side of the car. I'm confused. The M105 looks better to me? Less swirling.
Okay. I remember seeing a video, where the car was wiped down with a 50/50(water/alcohol) solution.
What is the purpose of wiping down the whole car down with alcohol; after a polish?
Does power finish work best with a certain color pad?I like M105 better for correcting, and menzerna polishes for finishing(ie. 106FA and 85 RD). Though power finish does a pretty good job as a one-step, and I still use SIP it just takes longer.
Does power finish work best with a certain color pad?
Not the color of the car..lol...the color of the pad with power finish. It isn't the color, all colors have the same defects. Some cars have hard clear and some have soft clear.
