Menzerna Power Lock is a great sealant. Curing for 12 hours and adding an additional coat will increase its film thickness therefore adding to the protection envelope. Sealants also layer very nicely.
If you still feel you'd like to apply a wax give Collinite 845 a try. Collinite 845 is an incredible wax giving you both superb gloss and 5 full months of protection and add additional depth.
Collinite Liquid Insulator Wax #845, liquid wax, heat-resistant wax, car wax
my exact winter combo . 2 coats powerlock , 2 coats 845. I wonder who I got that from ?
i dunno.....I think Prima Hydroseal is pretty darn slick too. Maybe a "slick-off" is in order?Wait 12 hours and do another coat..you won't find a wax slicker or easier than Power Lock.
Can i use power lock on the windshields?
Thank´s everybody for the information
It´s difficult to get the 845 in Portugal do i have the same result with the Collinite Super Doublecoat Auto Wax (No. 476s)?
:iagree:a close call, but I did say a wax.i dunno.....I think Prima Hydroseal is pretty darn slick too. Maybe a "slick-off" is in order?![]()
BobbyG do i get the same results with this wax?
Durability ?
476 is as durable if not slightly better than 845 IMO. However it's no where as easy to use so read up on removal issues with it. 845 is stinking easy to use, looks good, great durability and very inexpensive. I hardly have any boutique waxes left and use 845 over everything. I'd seal the windshield I do all the time with BFWD, front and back only.
