Late Friday night I was working on my truck getting it ready for a car show the next morning. I did not have time to make the truck 100% swirl free, Since the truck is a metallic red getting rid of most of them would make it look swirl free. I was using M205 with Hydro Polishing pad then going behind it with WG Finishing Glaze. I had about half of the truck done and it was already 1am Saturday. At this rate I would of have finished at 5am.

So I decided to try something new. I pulled out the Porter Cable and Flat White LC pad and Pinnacle Paint Cleansing Lotion. It says on the bottle to work till it becomes tacky. I worked it in the paint till it was almost clear. I was using the DA at speed setting 5.

I have to say it cleaned the paint really nice. I washed and clayed the car before hand with WG Clay and the pad still turned a little Grey. The swirls I had were not that bad at all since I polished the truck about 8 months ago. But the amount of filling it did almost looked like the sections I went over with the m205. Don't get me wrong the swirls were still there but it made them about 70% less noticeable. It also left a perfect surface for me to apply WGPS.

I will try to get pictures up when the sun decides to come out.

All in all this is a great product.

Adam I now see why you use this before the shows you go to. This stuff is great.

How do you compare this product to the Wolfgang paint polish enhancer?

I will let you know by this week. I will be tring this product within the week. I have to work on a black G35 to get it ready for a show this Saturday

This is a "must have" product, especially for those that dont polish. P21S GEPC is a close second.

Yes, I polish my truckk once a year. I use the ruck everyday for work both detailing and construction. This is great for when I enter in shows or go to meets because it really makes the swirls disappear.

I have learned alot of tricks from fellow forum members from ASPAULT ROCKET to Mike P to a ton of others.Just need to listen to the guys that steer you in the right direction:xyxthumbs:

Is this product suitable to use under a sealant or will it decrease the durability of the sealant or would WG paint cleaner be better for sealant.

Interesting.
This is a product you don't hear that much about anymore, but 6 or 8 years ago, it was really quite popular. PPCL and Blitz Carnauba Wax.
Sounds like it might still be worth talking about.

The Pinnacle Paint Cleansing Lotion cleans the paint to get it ready for you LSP. So yes it is perfectly safe to use before WGPS.

Are you sure about PPCL being a good prep for sealants?
It has fillers which is not usually a good thing prior to a sealant.
The AG info talks about following it with a wax, but never mentions using a sealant.

I am using it with WGPS 3.0 on my truck it been raining down here in FL since Friday did see any change in protection.

Both Pinnacle and WG Paint Cleansing Lotions are "Mirco Fillers" if you look on the AG website it was basically the same info for both products. I would have to say they are very similar and that using wax or sealant should not make a diffrence if applied right.

Actually, AG makes it very clear that Wolfgang paint polish enhancer(micro fillers) leaves one of the best possible finishes to apply a sealant. Considering they're both trying to accomplish the same thing, I would think you could use on or the other for either a wax or sealant. I'm going to call autogeek to find out for sure. :xyxthumbs:

Great, but Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion is the product I'm questioning.
The AG ad copy for the WGPPE suggests using a sealant over it.
The AG ad copy for the PPCL never mentions a sealant, only wax.
Coincidence?

Anyway, good luck with whatever you choose. :)

I edited my reply, but you quoted me before I could finish..lol.
I just purchased the WG paint polish enancer and WG sealant 3.0. Anyhow, you bring up a good point. I'm going to call autogeek tech support today and ask about what you're questioning. :xyxthumbs:

Since you purchased products that they intend to be used in combination, you should have nothing but great results. I have read nothing but good reports from people that use Wolfgang.
Never used it. A little pricey for me. :)

What did you find out when you talked to the folks at AG?

Both products do the same thing. Both are Mirco-Fillers if you can use one you can use the other.

Haven't called them yet.
If you call them on your lunch break, the AG crew should be up from their "after lunch nap" and able to answer the question. :D
Seriously, Meghan or Dwayne could shed some light in very short order.
I was tempted to call, but my information might be considered biased.

FWIW, I did a little research and PPCL has been used under sealants by others. At least one individual was using it under Zaino.

Still doesn't make sense to me how a sealant can "bond" to fillers.
