Praying for all of my Florida AGO family......

Electricity is out in many places even close to me. I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a week to come back on.

Hi all. We are OK. Appreciate everyone's concern and thoughts. Thank you. Just got some power back today instead of generator power. Also a little bit of wifi/connectivity.

It's a huge mess down here and in the surrounding areas. Not crazy wind here, 110mph or so, but it lasted for days. And the storm surge is what kicked our asses the most. Water up to the roofs of some houses. Just crazy.

Again, I may not be on for a bit, need to take care of stuff here, as well as power/comms are not super stable.

But we are OK!

Thanks again my AG family!

HOORAY!!!

GREAT to hear, Scottie! I know ssorting through that mess won't be fun but glad you and the Mrs. are ok.

We didn't get much of anything up here in Tampa and all's fine.

Thanks for the concern chilly.

Hope everyone makes it ok. I used to live in Ft Myers and my in-laws live just south of there. I moved there in spring of ‘04. Just in time for Charlie to smash the area. That was a fun introduction to FL weather…

My in-laws lost power and cell coverage(obviously) so my wife couldn’t talk to her mom for a few days and was losing her mind. She was trying to make plans to get down there as soon as possible after the storm passed, even floating the idea of driving. I was able to talk her down and wait until she got some word from her parents. Well, after all the anxiety they were totally fine. They live south of Ft Myers and inland quite a bit so all they got was a bunch of wind and rain. Maybe a few trees down in the neighborhood. But not even a drop of water leaked inside or any damage to their pool cage

Hope everyone else is ok and is cleaning up as easily as can be expected

Would you believe at least my town STILL hasn't begun cleaning up all the tree and yard debris from people's properties yet?

I'm glad I disposed of mine with a different method

People are starting to get mad, and although this sure beats flooding that so many elsewhere have, I can understand why.
