Pre-order a new 3rd generation Griot’s Garage 6 Inch Random Orbital Polisher and receive a $25 Gift Certificate to Autogeek.net!

New 3rd generation polisher will be shipping 1st week of December.

Griot’s Garage 6 Inch Random Orbital Polisher has established a reputation among detailers and enthusiasts for having the ability to remove just about any paint imperfection imaginable including water spots, swirls, oxidation and even light scratches! This is largely due in part to its powerful 7 amp motor that packs a whopping 850 watts of paint-polishing power. The smooth, powerful motor delivers low-end torque and a wide, 5/16” diameter orbit ensures uniform material removal. Griot’s Garage has once again raised the bar with the 3rd generation 6 Inch Random Orbital Polisher that features superior ergonomics for an even smoother polishing experience!

Griot’s Garage carefully took into consideration its wide customer base when designing the 3rd generation 6 Inch Random Orbital Polisher. Their goal was to make machine polishing less intimidating for those who are new to the hobby, while also making it a more pleasant experience for professional detailers who polish paint every day. Griot’s Garage has successfully conquered the daunting task of pleasing both the novice and the professional with their redesigned 3rd generation 6 Inch Random Orbital Polisher!

Anyone that has used a 2nd generation Griot’s Garage 6 Inch Random Orbital Polisher knows that power has never been a problem, so Griot’s Garage focused on redesigning the casing of the polisher to make it more comfortable to hold during extended polishing sessions. The adjustable handle is still there, but they added a rubberized grip to make it easier to hold on to. The housing now features molded hand and finger grips along with a domed, rubberized palm grip. The speed control dial and power switch were also moved to more convenient locations. All of these features add up to a significantly improved polisher that will surely inspire you to have fun in your garage!

Any chance of a 2nd gen. trade-in program? Gently used, low-mileage, non-smoker. ;)

Very Nice!

Nick I have been out of the mix for a bit but do these still carry the lifetime through Griots?

Hmm interesting, I love my current Griots so much though.....plus I kind of want a flex, I am stuck!!!! grrrrr

Good question. I'd snag a Gen 2 now if I knew it was going away.

I am hoping to snag a gen 2 myself from someone jumping to the gen 3. For as little as I do a new da is kinda pointless

How would you compare it with the Flex 3401? This new 3rd generation has the same power as the previous one. I already have a PC7424XP and a Flex 3401. Wondering if I should pull the trigger.....

if you already own a flex AND pcxp you should be good. if i only owned the flex, then i would purchase the gg6 over the pcxp...

Thank you it was my first idea. You're right when you say that you would purchase the GG6 over the PCXP(lack of power)

Johny.
