I have an electric "Cleanforce" Home Depot pressure washer. It is rated at 1800psi and 1.5gpm. If I use it with the 40 degree tip that came with it do you guys think it would be paint safe?
I heard that factory painted plastic (like on bumpers etc) is rated for about 1400psi and that painted metal panels have an even higher rating. I know the 15 degree tip would be too powerful becasue I guess that is what you use to get the full 1800 psi.
Also even when using the 40 degree tip I do not hold it right up to the paint either.
Just wondering if I need a special fan rinse tip or if the 40 degree would be OK on my cars painted plastic/metal surfaces?
BTW do you guys find that rinsing with a pressure washer strips the trim sealant away?
