On older car you need to cover the carb, and distributor cap. Make sure they do not get wet. Spark plugs has a rubber boot on them. If it has an open intake, cover it up.krouchchocolate said:do you cover anything like spark plugs, battery, intake?

Newer car stay away from the coil packs. Using a pressure washer is not the best way to clean an engine. You might blow up some kind of senor or electrical something. It's better to do it by hand. Check out this link.
