Prestige Auto Detailing: 1999 Honda Accord

Washed the engine and it's running fine. Of course, not everything is coming off but, a big amount of it has. The car is outside running the engine for a few. I have to get over to the doctors office, so, when I arrive back, I will take pics and post them in here.

fyi - I did not cover up anything under the hood. :dblthumb2:

It's very simple, quick and EASY. You are only using two things. Amazing Roll-Off and Stoners. Nada Mas. wait, english version is Nothing Else. LOL

Pics will be posted within three hours. I hope.

LOL! Hurry & post them pics...hanging on a thread here...Im the MAN

I knew it! You didn't get your tetanus shot and the Doc's not happy. Ha! Seriously, if you can make that interior and engine shine I will be truly impressed.

Anybody want to place a small wager on the out come?? LMAO

Here are pictures of the engine. I did not cover anything up. After I washed the engine with Amazing Roll-Off, I dressed it with Stoner's More Shine. After I did that, started the sedan up without any problems. I even drove into town to the body shop so my friend could take a look at it. It did take me three tries to get almost everything off. Less then 25 minutes.

Now, Thursday, it's interior day!!!!! Ahhhhh...... It smells so wonderful inside the Honda. LOL

So you are just spraying the stoner's more shine on the wet engine then letting it all dry or do you do a wipe down after it's dry?

Very Nice by the way!

P.S. The Doc had good news I hope!

Correct. The only things I wipe down are the body works in the factory color and some of the black rubber covers. Nothing else.

I hope you understud what I said.

SCRUBBING? I did not do any scrubbing. I just used my High Pressure Washer on the engine. Yes. I know many of you will be very shocked that I only used the High Pressure Washer on the engine. I went over the engine about three times spraying the ARO. I also had a fresh container of WD-40 if it was needed. It wasn't. It's also very nice that one of your best friends manages a body shop. :xyxthumbs: After I did the engine, I drove it into town for him to check things out. He liked it since he knows the family who owns the Honda.

Tomorrow, I start on the interior. I hope rain does not appear out of no where like it did this afternoon. I sprayed some Mequiar's All Purpose Cleaner Plus into the sedan while thunder and rain was coming around my canopy like crazy. Maybe that will help the interior smell a little better tomorrow morning. LOL I will have to take it to Starbucks in the morning for some people to take a sniff of it. he he he

Just remember everyone. You need to make sure you know what you are doing BEFORE you try doing this. It's always best to ask some people questions before you do things different. You do not wish to have your name known as the person who messes up things on ones vehicle.

My $.02 to EVERYONE.

I was not pointing at you. I'm just advising everyone not to jump into detailing engines unless they know how. If they don't know what they are doing, it could cost them some good money to get the engines running properly again. People just need to know what has to be protected. Yes. I always state that I use only two things, wash & dress so they think it's an quick and easy job.

Thats all.
